The Master of Business a Research (MBR) will be hosted by the Department of Management Science and Project Planning. The programme offers students advanced training in the research skills, techniques, and methodologies to conduct high quality and original research in business and related disciplines.
Business research has been the missing link in conducting high quality research with industry having deficiencies in research skills as demonstrated by the quality of their projects. Yet, research has become a source of competitiveness in both corporate and public sectors and data and information derived from it. While most of the data collection and analysis have been automated, the conceptualization, interpretation and application remain the work of the researcher, a competency the program seeks to enhance.
The Master in Sustainable Management and Operations programme will be hosted by the Department of Agricultural Economics. It is designed to provide exposure to a wide range of domestic, regional and international social, economic and environmental problems affecting the industries in Kenya and beyond.
